The Season so Far
Just over half way through the season and all the teams are doing well. All the young players who have come into the
senior side this year are really doing well. The Saturday 1st eleven are doing very well, unbeaten so far and
looking for promotion. Ben Rayner has transformed the side and now we are going forward and everyone is enjoying cricket.
The 2nd eleven are 4th in the league. The last few results have not gone their way but Alex and Nick are doing a
great job in bringing the young players through the ranks.
The 3rd team, and don't forget this team was only formed this year, are mid-table. This is our colt
side and John Dugan is doing a great job for the younger players - a credit to the club.
The Sunday 1st eleven are having a better season and everyone is enjoying playing cricket which shows in the
results - they are 3rd in the top division - well done to Tom Hughes.
The Sunday 2nd eleven are having a hard time in the league but John Goodchild is working hard with the side.
They are near the bottom of the leaque but a few good results and they could pull clear.
Sponsors
We have to thank D'Angibau Solicitors who have sponsored us again. They have provided new badges for you to wear
on the shirts. We are very lucky to have a firm in this present climate to sponsor us. Please don't forget that if you need
advice in any aspect of legal work (eg. buying or selling property, matrimonial, Wills, employment, crime, etc) they will be
only too happy to help.
Membership
Harry Sinsbury has been working hard with Membership. I know he has been pestering you about subs but without his
help the club would struggle. He is a very inportant member of our club and as you know the fixture list was all his
hard work - a great job Harry.

Coaches
Congratulations go to our players Ian King, Keiron Burton and Ben Rayner who now have their level 1
coaching badge and Eddie Richmond who now has level 2 - well done to you all. This is a great benefit to the club as they
